Sen Obama represents the unfulfilled dreams of many people , African, Asians ,natives,etc who wanted the change from centuries of deprivation ,neglect and injustice.Mr Obama not only represent blacks but also whites ,Asians who want to change the way world is.Today world is fighting over religion ,race ,oil,etc ,but this election gives us a glimmer of hope that the concept of one world one nation may be far but not impossible .Kudos Mr. Obama ,keep the good work going .Thank you once again&lt;/p&gt;

Europe has long stated its aim to limit global warming to 2°C above the pre-industrial average. If we allow temperatures to exceed this threshold, we face the prospect run-away and catastrophic climate change.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;
It's time for Europe to show leadership in addressing climate change&lt;br&gt;
Scientists are already predicting an ice-free Arctic in summer months, possibly before the end of the current decade. In addition, warming would threaten around 1 billion people with problems of water scarcity, and would place as many as 30% of all plant and animal species at a high risk of extinction.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;The decisions the EU is making will set the level of ambition for future international negotiations, where world leaders will come together to agree a long-term solution to climate change. No matter where we live, we all need Europe to show leadership in tackling climate change. &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt; Let European leaders know that it’s time for them to lead&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;Developed countries like those in the EU have the greatest responsibility for emitting the climate-changing gasses which cause global warming as they began pumping carbon dioxide and other ‘greenhouse gasses’ much earlier than most other countries. In addition, as one of the world’s largest trading blocks, the EU remains responsible for high per capita emissions, and has huge influence on the emissions of other countries through international trade and investment.&lt;/p&gt;

The world's most expensive experiment is going on in Geneva .An experiment to create a scenario of what would it have been looked liked seconds after the big bang explosion.&lt;/p&gt;

No Doubt this experiment is a great news for the physicist and no doubt they are taking a lot of interest in it ,but what is more interesting is that general public is also very keen about this experiment.This is not because the scale of the experiment but because of the rumor mill running frenzy that the doomsday is near.In India local media had created so much of hype that a rural girl committed suicide because she thought that world is going to end.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p class="left"&gt;No doubt media speculation are some what true that if the experiment fails and a black hole is created then no doubt doomsday is near.But it doesn't mean that one should assume that world is going to end and do something foolish.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p class="left"&gt;No one knows the outcome of this experiment but lets hope that this experiment break new grounds in the field of science and technology.All the best CERN&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class="left"&gt;Many years ago in year 1908 it was asked "When China will participate in Olympic?When they will win a medal?When will they host it?".The former questions were answered a long time ago but in 08.08.08 china answered the third question .This olympic showed the might of an asian country,one of the oldest civilization in the world.Despite many hurdles like a true champion china emerged victorious in all obstacles laid in there path.China not only became the first asian country to top the medal tally but also showed they were numerno uno as a host.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p class="left"&gt;
This olympic from the very begining was under a lot of pressure ,starting with the tibetian protestor ,who even managed to extinguish the very flame of olympic which symbolises peace and harmony to Fundamentalist who threatended to attack the olympic games.But  despite all these stuff Bejing olympic was one to be remembered for the good reason.

	&lt;p&gt;Bejing olympic witnessed some great stuff from America's Micheal Phelps who single handedly won 8 gold medal shattering the record of former great Spitz who won 7 gold medal in a single olympic.However apart from Phelps record US didn't do well in many discipline like Athletics and boxing.This olympic also produced another star ,Jamaica's Usain Bolt breaking michael Johnson's record 200 m record and setting new record in both 100 m and 400 m relay.&lt;br&gt;
Although china toped the medal tally but to be fair it was Jamica was a nation to watch with 11 medal outwhich 6 were gold.Although it is not much but for a country 2.8 million people it is great.Another medal which might not mean much to the world but a lot to a country of billion people India ,it was the gold of Abhinav Bindra in 10 m rifle shooting.It was the first Individual gold for India.This olympic also brought some disappointment to few countries,Cuba unable to win a single boxing gold medal this time and Brazil yet again failing to win a gold in football.However this olympic was not only a success as an event but also a success for the game with a total of 36 records being broken.

matter how funny it might seem! &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;This is a real story that happened between the customer of General Motors&lt;br&gt;
and its Customer-Care Executive.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;A complaint was received by the Pontiac Division of General Motors: &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;'This is the second time I have written to you, and I don't blame you for&lt;br&gt;
not answering me, because I sounded crazy, but it is a fact that we have a&lt;br&gt;
tradition in our family of Ice-Cream for dessert after dinner each night,&lt;br&gt;
but the kind of ice cream varies so, every night, after we've eaten, the&lt;br&gt;
whole family votes on which kind of ice cream we should have and I drive&lt;br&gt;
down to the store to get it. It's also a fact that I recently purchased a&lt;br&gt;
new Pontiac and since then my trips to the store have created a problem..... &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;You see, every time I buy a vanilla ice-cream, when I start back from the&lt;br&gt;
store my car won't start.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;If I get any other kind of ice cream, the car starts just fine. I want you&lt;br&gt;
to know I'm serious about this question, no matter how silly it sounds "What&lt;br&gt;
is there about a Pontiac that makes it not start when I get vanilla ice&lt;br&gt;
cream, and easy to start whenever I get any other kind?" &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;The Pontiac President was understandably skeptical about the letter, but&lt;br&gt;
sent an Engineer to check it out anyway.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;The latter was surprised to be greeted by a successful, obviously well&lt;br&gt;
educated man in a fine neighborhood. He had arranged to meet the man just&lt;br&gt;
after dinner time, so the two hopped into the car and drove to the ice cream&lt;br&gt;
store.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;It was vanilla ice cream that night and, sure enough, after they came back&lt;br&gt;
to the car, it wouldn't start.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;The Engineer returned for three more nights. The first night, they got&lt;br&gt;
chocolate. The car started. &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;The second night, he got strawberry. The car started. The third night he&lt;br&gt;
ordered vanilla. The car failed to start.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;Now the engineer, being a logical man, refused to believe that this man's&lt;br&gt;
car was allergic to vanilla ice cream. He arranged, therefore, to continue&lt;br&gt;
his visits for as long as it took to solve the problem. And toward this end&lt;br&gt;
he began to take notes: He jotted down all sorts of data: time of day, type&lt;br&gt;
of gas uses, time to drive back and forth etc.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;In a short time, he had a clue: the man took less time to buy vanilla than&lt;br&gt;
any other flavor. Why?&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;The answer was in the layout of the store. Vanilla, being the most popular&lt;br&gt;
flavor, was in a separate case at the front of the store for quick pickup.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;All the other flavors were kept in the &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;back of the store at a different counter where it took considerably longer&lt;br&gt;
to check out the flavor. &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;Now, the question for the Engineer was why the car wouldn't start when it&lt;br&gt;
took less time. Eureka - Time was now the problem - not the vanilla ice&lt;br&gt;
cream!!!! The engineer quickly came up with the answer: "vapor lock". &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;It was happening every night; but the extra time taken to get the other&lt;br&gt;
flavors allowed the engine to cool down sufficiently to start. When the man&lt;br&gt;
got vanilla, the engine was still too hot for the vapor lock to dissipate. &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;Even crazy looking problems are sometimes real and all problems seem to be&lt;br&gt;
simple only when we find the solution, with cool thinking. &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;Don't just say it is "IMPOSSIBLE" without putting a sincere effort.... &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;Observe the word "IMPOSSIBLE" carefully....&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;Looking closer you will see, "I'M POSSIBLE". &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;What really matters is your attitude and your perception.&lt;br&gt;
So never be shy to ask your questions. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class="left"&gt;Beijing, China – The reported sighting of a Yangtze River dolphin, or baiji, means there is still a chance to protect cetaceans in the Yangtze from extinction.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;The Chinese media reported that a local businessman in Tongling City in east China’s Anhui Province filmed “a big white animal” with his digital camera on 19 August. The footage was later confirmed to be a baiji by Professor Wang Ding, a leading scientist in baiji study at the Institute of Hydrobiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;It is the first baiji reportedly found in the Yangtze since a scientific expedition last year, during which no single baiji was spotted. &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;Based on the river’s geographic and hydrological complexity and the official definition of extinction by IUCN, WWF and many scientists agreed that this species was “functionally extinct”, but thought it was still too early to declare its extinction.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;“The finding of baiji proved our thoughts and presents a last hope to save the species with strengthened measures,” said Dr Zhu Jiang, Senior Programme Officer at WWF-China's Wuhan Office. &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;“Efforts are needed, now more than ever, to provide a living space for this beautiful animal, which is a flagship species for the Yangtze River.”&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;WWF has been actively involved in the protection of cetaceans and their habitat in the Yangtze River. Last year the global conservation organization cooperated with other stakeholders to finish drafting a protection strategy and action plan to improve the protection capacity of nature reserves.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;“The protection strategies and action plan will be implemented under the WWF-HSBC programme to conserve the baiji and the Yangtze together with related stakeholders,” Dr Zhu added.&lt;br&gt;

	&lt;p class="left"&gt;Even after independence tiger hunting continued.But during the time of  first women prime minister of India efforts were made to conserve the tiger popullation in India after a revalation of a survey that concluded that less than 2000 tigers are remaining in the wild.In year 1973 India's Project Tiger was launched with the enthusiastic support of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, a powerful patron.The tiger became India's national symbol. International conservation organizations rushed in to help, especially the World Wildlife Fund and IUCN-World Conservation Union, launching a fund-raising drive in support of Project Tiger and similar conservation efforts in other tiger-range countries. In India and elsewhere, tiger killing was banned. Habitat for tigers was set aside in specially designated tiger reserves, in which every effort was made to separate tigers from people, usually by restricting commercial harvest of forest or other products in these reserves and by relocating the inhabitants.This massive operation provided a great hope in tiger conservation.&lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;p class="left"&gt; 34 years after project tiger thier number have raised but still tiger population is under extreme pressue due to wide spread tiger body part trade in China.In a recent revalation China who made it illegal to trade tiger parts is reconsidering its desicion .They want to make it legal to sell tiger part from tigers of thier tiger farm.But by doing this they will put enourmous pressure on tiger popullation in wild ,as poacher will kill many more tiger to meet the demand of chinesse tiger market.The demand of tiger in china is mainly because of the need of tiger body part in traditional chinesse medicine.But strange it may appear the aphroditic property that the tiger body part such as bones , nails etc contain is same as that found in other animals including human being.&lt;/p&gt;

In this world of sceince and technology it is hard to belive in ghost and supernatural,but sometimes strange thing happpen in our life that make us belive that supernatural do exist.Three years ago something similar happened to me that made me belive that supernatural do exist.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p class="left"&gt;
In the heart of Guwahati the state capital of eastern state of India, Assam there is a beautiful lake known by the name of &lt;em&gt;Digholipukhuri&lt;/em&gt;,meaning the long lake .This lake is quite famous among the tourists,every year it attract thousands of them.It is said that this lake is 600 years old and was dug by Ahom rulers.The trees surrounding the lake are also 200-300 years old.Apart from all tese fact there is a strange myth related to this lake. It is said that about 150 years ago there lived a washerman with his wife nearby the bank of the lake .One day while his wife was washing cloths in the lake he pushed her in the lake,she did'nt know how to swim and was drowned,but before dying she said that she will take revenge of her death.After this incident every year someone was always drowned in the lake.And strange it may appear all the victims were male.But as time passed such incidents also become less.On fifteenth august2004 me with my freinds want to Digholipukhuri to celebrate our countrys independence day.When we reached Digholipukhuri a strange temptation aroused in our mind .We all wanted to explore the lake, so we hired a boat and went into the lake.Eveything was fine in the begining  but as we reached the center of the lake our boat was stucked ,we were unable to move.But with a great effort we were finally able to release ourself,and latter realised that some kind of weed had stucked in the motor so we were unable to move.We guided our boat to the bank and after watching independence day celebration we all went home.&lt;/p&gt;

When I reached home it was eleven pm.I was too tired i changed my cloths and went to bed.As soon as I fell on the bed I was fast asleep.In my sleep I had a very strange and clear dream I saw a maid in traditional Assamese dress in the bank of a lake and calling my name.I felt that something was pulling me towards the lake I tried to resist my self and the battle between us continued till my sleep was finally broken up.Next morning my friend called  me up and I was astonished to know that my friend  had also the same dream as I had.After that I called up all my friend who were with me Last night and was shocked to know that all my friends had the same type of dream except two of our friends and both of them were Girls.&lt;/p&gt;
