The world's most expensive experiment is going on in Geneva .An experiment to create a scenario of what would it have been looked liked seconds after the big bang explosion.
No Doubt this experiment is a great news for the physicist and no doubt they are taking a lot of interest in it ,but what is more interesting is that general public is also very keen about this experiment.This is not because the scale of the experiment but because of the rumor mill running frenzy that the doomsday is near.In India local media had created so much of hype that a rural girl committed suicide because she thought that world is going to end.
No doubt media speculation are some what true that if the experiment fails and a black hole is created then no doubt doomsday is near.But it doesn't mean that one should assume that world is going to end and do something foolish.
